I notice in your log posting, things about MLM. If you have MLM
installed, chances are that he will grab the trap port before NetView
does - hence trapd fails, ........
>From memory, mlm is started from /etc/rc.nfs - have a check there and
disable him. Also, do a ps -ef and grep for midmand - that's the MLM
daemon. You can stop him with
/usr/etc/smmlm stop
Stop netview - ovstop nvsecd
and restart, ovstart
