Oh yes. And get to 6.01. There were LOTS of map crashes
on 6.0, even on the server. That should be your first step.
Sorry I did not notice that you were on 6.0 right off.

We had the same problem (PMR 79001) and can't get the L2 support to act.
They claim that Netview (Tivoli?) only supports "true X" whatever that is.
I'd suggest raising your own PMR and document in it the exact version of
Reflection and what X standards it supports.

Subject: [NV-L] Netview OVW disconnects
Hi All,
Before I send this problem to support, I would like to get any information
from the group.
Im running Netview 6.0 on Solaris 2.7. Our operators connect to the NV box
using Reflection eumlation. They are experiencing frequent shutdowns of
the
Netview gui. Every few hours, ovw dies. The xterminal from which they
launch
the gui is still running so it's not a problem with the emulation. They can
relaunch the gui by typing netview again. As far as I can tell from what
the operators tell me, the disconnects happen when the GUI is idle, when
nothing is happening.
I've been going throught the logs and I havent really seen anything useful.
Can anyone tell me where I can start looking for answers?
Thanks in advance for any help,
Chaz Vidal
