Are you using SNMP status polling for these routers ?
I have seen this when resources are low on the NetView server, which may cause SNMP status polling to time out.

Hello list,

I am facing the following problem: We have about 200 branches (ARN Nortel routers) and for some branches about 10, the routers are shown as yellow. When I check the interfaces I see that the WAN interface is red. When I test the interface (ping) the interface responds and becomes green. After some seconds it goes back to read state. Any ideas why this is happening will be greatly appreciated.

Netview 7.1.1

AIX 4.3

ARN Nortel Routers
