While the MLM code for Windows and Unix is unique, the administration of the two is very close. You can use APM or the MLM management GUI at the Unix server to manage both MLMs the same way. There is documentation about a few things that are different such as the functions you can use in a MIB value calculation. But generally, the administration is the same. If you deploy MLMs, I recommend that you deploy all of them on Unix or all of them on Windows so that the differences don't bite you later. |
