Hi Ray,
Tried this today with a Win 2003, NetView 7.1.4 FP3 (unfortunately FP3 was already installed before I could check....). I see exactly the same as you in netmon.trace and no availability reports - bad news! I know this works on Linux NV 7.1.4 FP3 and, I am pretty certain with AIX. I think this is PMR time.

Only approaches I can think of are to back-off the Fixpack and see if it works again (but I need FP3 functionality for Switch Analyzer stuff). The other thing to try is to hacking NMAVAILABILITY in somewhere other than netmon.conf (system environment variable as a crude hammer) - I doubt whether this will work but it might just be worth a go. If you raise a PMR, please let me know the number and I will "me too" on it. If you can't raise a PMR, I should have some time next week to do so.

Cheers,
Jane

Hi Jane,
That would be cool. Just about to implement 7.1.4 for windows on customer site. I'd would be nice to give them some availability reports. Talk to you later. cheers
Ray
