There was no existing name. The variable
name is dataIntRegister.
It’s working now. I just need to
convince my facilities guy to let me take a hair dryer to his temp sensors so I
can see an alert and clear.

I think you need to give it a different name or there will be a conflict with
the existing one. The goal is to create an "alias" for the same oid
but with a different name, so that you can use both at the same time. So that
would be something like that:
IonTemp2
\
"IonTemp * 1" \
.1.3.6.1.4.1.3815.1.2.2.1.1.1.1.1.2. 1 *
IonHumidity2 \
"IonHumidity * 1" \
.1.3.6.1.4.1.3815.1.2.2.1.1.1.1.1.2. 1 *
