HP printer TRAPS

I have Hp Laser Jet 6P printer which is connected to the network using
JetDirect EX plus(J2591A) and firmware version is E.05.12.
I tried to create all critical condition and other interface related errors
but i couldn't able to get any trap in the trapd.log file. What should i do
to get the traps from that printer or in other words does this printer
support traps.

In the NetView, we have one settings entry for hpnp_printer:
1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.9.1
and registered(i think so) 5 different traps in the Trap Settings
application.
does anyone put some light on this issue.
