You are a NetView for UNIX user are you not? You should take the time to read about seed files in the NetView installation manual in UNIX. In there you will learn that to limit discovey you should use an invalid range, such as "3.3.3.*" as the last item of your seed file to limit what it finds. The ones you include before that will guarantee tht those interfaces will be discovered if any are, but netmon will not stop there. James Shanks Team Leader, Level 3 Support |
