Thanks a lot you your response Claudius.

When the status of the row is "underCreation", then we are
able to set the values of that row successfully from NetView
Web Console MIB Browser.

That means that,

1- MIB is loaded in NetView.

2- Write community is correct (atleast it is allowing us to change
    the values of the row when the row status is "underCreation",
    from NetView).


We are trying to change the values of the row of RMON alarmTable
(OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.16.3.1)

We are able to set the values of the rows successfully using SNMP Research
utilities (snmp set etc) but not from NetView Web Console MIB Browser.

As we are accessing our product MIB from Tivoli NetView,
(which we implemented using SNMP Research Agent implementation)
so is it the case that we need to give permission from our
Agent, to NetView, so that NetView can access our MIBs?
