Hello Everybody, We are having NetView 6.0.2 on AIX 4.3.3 We have defined six different community names in "communityNames.conf" file under /usr/OV/conf directory for our routers. Each routers have been configured to send SNMP trapd to two AIX boxes(production+lab). Recently, we started getting the following errors in our trapd.log :-
These errors were not coming earlier. But now are coming for almost all the routers. Probably, network administrators have removed public community name from all these routers. I suppose, public community name is not mandatory? Then what could be the reason for these errors and where this could impact? Regards,
