I don't understand. Normally when you upgrade on UNIX the command window shows only a series of dots being put to the screen as the install proceeds. So how to you know what command is being run? What else did you do besides run the upgrade command? James Shanks Level 3 Support for Tivoli NetView for UNIX and Windows Tivoli Software / IBM Software Group
I have been running an upgrade of my production NetView server from 7.1.1 to 7.1.3 this morning – it is taking a very long time to run! It has been running the command
/usr/OV/install/system/OVIPMAP/customize AIX ovinstall
for over an hour now! Is this to be expected, or has something gone wrong that I should be worried about?
Thanks,
Brian
