A map can have only one read-write user at a time, no matter how you
connect. Your X-emulator just allows your PC to telnet into a NetView box
and get a map back, just as if it were a UNIX machine. The situation is
no different. You can have multiple maps, if you wish, but then you have
map admin issues, like having to open and delete an object from each of
them if you want it re-discovered. It's your choice what to do, but
whether you use a PC emulator or not doesn't change the choice.

Only one user *at at time*? Say, only the user at the netview server has
r/w capability, and everyone connected via telnet/x-windows has read only?
Or is it the server user and one person connected remotely that have r/w
(for a total of two), everyone else has r/o? I suspect the former, but had
to ask.
