| Hello
Meyos   I'm
having a similar problem with the web console security... I made
a little research and found that the problems appear when you restart the
webserver through the Web console Security applicaiton...   The
Netview Support Page reports a bug something like that, and says there are some
hung jetty processes left which contain wrong security configurations (or
something like that).... Actually, i think that the Web Console Clients connect
to this corrupt process instead to the pure one... The support page says to kill
the process and restart the webserver by ovstart..... This is why rebooting the
server works to temporarily fix the problem!   Lesson: Dont
restart the webserver when the Web Console security prompts you to do so....
Just exit and ovstop ovstart....

Thanks Jane, Actually, rebooting the machine fixed the problem ....

 Hmmm
    - running out of ideas...Have you deleted one of your rogue users and
    recreated it?
Could you have white space somewhere at the end of a
    username and / or role?
Check and make sure that you only have 1 jetty
    (webserver) process running.

Have you bounced all your NetView
daemons and checked that they have
really all gone - no orphans left
around to confuse things? (I use ps
-ef | grep ov as a good start on
    this).

Otherwise, I think it's time to call
    Support.

 Cheers,
 Jane
