I had to create a .Xdefaults file in my /root directory cause it did not exist. The user Il og into the box with and X window with is my root user. It did nto seem to change the appearance of my map. I guess my question is are you using the default map or a created map? Thanks CHris Petrina
There is also a way to change the font that is used for items on the map. It allows nodes to appear closer together. It made a HUGE difference on my map. In you home directory create or edit your .Xdefualts file and add the following: *size30Font: 6x11 *size20Font: 6x11 *size10Font: 6x11 *smallFont: 6x11 OVw*submapDialog*XmList*FontList: 6x11 If you have a map open you will need to restart it. One of the files in the app-defaults directory has a setting that allow you to adjust the distance between the icons (I think). I might look into this a little later and let you know if I find anything. If you are going to take a look yourself, look at the Xnm, OVw files to start with. It is still to seperate to be meaningful. And when I draw abox around multiple devices at that range, it does not show them being highlighted/selected. I have set the auto layout to off now and am simply trying to select the distant devices to Hide them then do a show hidden sot hat they appear in the NOHA but it will not grabt he devices. The end result is that I simply need to make my location.conf better. ________________________________________________________________________ This email has been scanned for all viruses by the MessageLabs SkyScan service._______________________________________________________________ |
